Advantages of Switched Reluctance Motor Operation

Switched reluctance motors are energy-saving and can effectively improve the working efficiency of equipment.   1. The system efficiency is high
  in a wide speed regulation range, and the overall efficiency is higher than other winches. The speed control system is at least 10% higher, especially at low speeds and non-rated loads.
  2. Wide range of speed regulation, long-term operation
  at low speed It can run with load for a long time in the range of zero to high speed, and the temperature rise of the motor and controller is lower than that of the rated load. In contrast, the frequency converter cannot do it. If the frequency converter adopts an ordinary motor, its cooling is the cooling air blown by the fan fixed on the motor shaft. At low speed, the cooling air volume is obviously insufficient, and the motor heat cannot be dissipated in time. Go; if a dedicated motor for inverter is used, it is quite expensive and consumes a lot of energy.

  When the starting torque of the switched reluctance motor drive system reaches 200% of the rated torque, the starting current is only 10% of the rated current.

  When the three-phase input power supply of the system is out of phase, runs under power or stops, the motor and the controller will not be burned. The lack of phase of the motor input will only lead to the reduction of the output power of the motor, and has no effect on the motor.
  6. Strong overload capacity
  When the load is much larger than the rated load for a short time, the speed will drop, maintain a large output power, and there will be no overcurrent phenomenon. When the load returns to normal, the speed returns to the set speed.
  7. Power device control error will not cause short circuit
  The power devices of the upper and lower bridge arms are connected in series with the windings of the motor, and there is no phenomenon that the power devices are burnt due to control errors or short-circuits caused by interference.
  Through the above introduction, it is not difficult to see that the operating advantages of the switched reluctance motor are very obvious, and the equipment efficiency of the system is very high.
