The selection of the material of the micro DC geared motor is also very important, and it needs to be considered from many aspects.

There are two types of magnetic fields in the iron core magnetic circuit of the miniature DC geared motor : a constant magnetic field and an alternating magnetic field, so the nature of the magnetic field needs to be considered. The iron core is the component of the miniature DC geared motor that carries the magnetic flux and fixes the rotor winding. It is usually made of silicon steel sheets stacked. For the iron core rotor working in a constant magnetic field, electrical pure iron and No. 10 steel can be fully utilized. magnetic permeability. For the iron core rotor working in the alternating magnetic field, suitable silicon steel sheets can be used to ensure the magnetic permeability and saturation flux density as well as the iron loss requirements.

Considering the magnetic density of the iron core of the miniature DC geared motor , the iron core can be divided into two types: high and low. For the iron core with high magnetic density, silicon steel sheet or electrical pure iron should be selected, and cold-rolled silicon steel sheet should be selected. Considering the influence of the iron core loss on the structural process on the loss of the micro DC geared motor, attention should be paid to the thickness selection of the silicon steel sheet. The thin silicon steel sheet has more insulation and less iron loss, but the lamination increases; the thick silicon steel sheet has less insulation and less iron loss. The loss increases, but the number of laminations is small. The iron loss value of the iron core material can be appropriately relaxed for the miniature DC geared motor.
