Switched reluctance motors can be divided into several types

 Switched reluctance motor is a kind of speed regulating motor developed after DC motor and brushless DC motor. The research on reluctance motors in the United Kingdom and the United States started earlier and achieved remarkable results. The power level of the product ranges from several W to several hundreds of kw, and is widely used in household appliances, aviation, aerospace, electronics, machinery, electric vehicles and other fields. So what are the specific types?
  1. Reluctance motors can be roughly divided into the following three categories:
  (1) switched reluctance motors;
  (2) synchronous reluctance motors;
  (3) other types of motors.
  Both the rotor and the stator of a switched reluctance motor have salient poles. In the synchronous reluctance motor, only the rotor has salient poles, and the stator structure is the same as that of the asynchronous motor.
  Second, the performance of the characteristics of the switched reluctance motor
  As a new type of speed regulation motor, the switched reluctance motor has the following advantages.
  (1) The speed regulation range is wide, the control is flexible, and it is easy to realize the torque and speed characteristics of various special requirements.
  (2) It is convenient to manufacture and maintain.
  (3) High operating efficiency. Due to the flexible control of SRM, it is easy to realize energy-saving control in a wide speed range.
  (4) Four- phase operation, regenerative braking; strong capability.
  The switched reluctance motor has a simple structure, low cost, and simple manufacturing process. The rotor has no winding and can work at high speed; the stator is a concentrated winding, which is easy to embed, with short and firm ends, and is reliable in operation. It is suitable for various harsh, high temperature and even strong vibration environments.
