Work schedules are divided into the following 9 categories:
S1 continuous duty cycle: The operating time under constant load is sufficient to achieve thermal stability.
S2 Short-Time Duty: Under constant load, the motor operates for a given time, which is insufficient to reach thermal stability. Subsequently, the motor is immediately shut off for a sufficient time to allow it to cool down to within 2K of the temperature difference between the motor and the cooling medium.
S3 Intermittent Duty Cycle: Operates in a series of identical duty cycles, each cycle consisting of a period of constant load operation and a period of power-off shutdown. The starting current of each cycle in this duty cycle does not significantly affect the temperature rise.
S4 includes an intermittent cycle duty system for starting: it operates in a series of identical duty cycles, each cycle including a start-up time that has a significant impact on temperature rise, a constant load operation time, and a power-off shutdown time.
