According to foreign media reports, EV Safe Charge, a supplier of flexible charging technology for electric vehicles, has demonstrated its electric vehicle mobile charging robot ZiGGY™ for the first time. The device provides fleet operators and owners with cost-effective charging in car parks, shopping and entertainment centers, hotels, and more, breaking the limitations of fixed chargers and eliminating the need for expensive electrical infrastructure. In addition, digital ad servers on ZiGGY can display customized information and generate ad revenue.

The user can summon the ZiGGY to the parking position through the mobile phone software or the in-vehicle infotainment system and reserve a place for plug-in charging. ZiGGY is able to return to its base to be recharged via the grid, batteries or solar or related energy sources. ZiGGY can also be selected for off-site charging if there is no infrastructure available or on-site required.
