The Sono Sion project began as early as 2017, and the styling of its production model isn’t formalized until 2022. The car is positioned as an MPV model. Its biggest feature is that a total of 456 solar photovoltaic panels are embedded in the roof, engine cover and fenders. The total energy storage is 54kWh, which can provide the car with a range of 305 kilometers (WLTP). working conditions). The energy generated by the sun can help the car add an extra 112-245 kilometers per week. In addition, the new car also supports 75kW AC charging and can be discharged externally, with a maximum discharge power of 2.7kW.
The interior of the new car is very simple, the floating central control screen integrates most of the functions in the car, and green plants are placed in the passenger instrument panel, probably to show the concept of environmental protection of the car.
